The Site Matrix is easily managed using this tool. The user can quickly make a change to one or more site matrices, add or delete problem codes, and make changes to items such as priority, approval codes, service contracts, assignments, etc.
To access this tool, select Parameter Update from the Tools menu. The user must be working working in the Site Matrix Maintenance form for this tool to be active. Screen Shot
Enter the Matrix ID number(s) to be updated or click the down-arrow icon in the Matrix ID column to find a Site Matrix. Alternatively, click the checkbox labeled Update All Matrices.
Click the checkbox adjacent to each Field (1 - 13) to be updated or modified. Screen Shot
Note: To change a Priority code, click the down-arrow icon. A Find button is provided for all other matrix fields.
To invalidate a field, select Null out this field.
Add the Problem Codes to which the changes are to be applied.
Select one of the Problem Code Options. This tool allows the user to update, insert or delete problem codes.
Tip: Matrices and problem codes can be pasted into this form.
Click Execute. The user will be presented with a pop up, charting the Modification Progress. Errors are not to be expected, however, a field is provided to detail any that may occur. If an error should occur, contact your System Administrator.
Click Close.
Note: If additional problem codes are to be updated, click Clear Codes or if there are other matrices to be updated click Clear IDs. Repeat the steps outlined above.Update Primary, Secondary, Tertiary Assignments
