If a technician is no longer with the company or is promoted to another position, or a contract is negotiated with a new vendor, an assignment can be replaced in all site matrices and all problem codes within those matrices using this tool.
Select Assignment Replace from the Tools menu, while working in the Site Matrix Maintenance screen. Screen Shot
Select the Vendor or Employee in both the From Assignment and To Assignment fields. A Find button is provided in each field for easy lookup. Screen Shot
Check the box adjacent to Primary, Secondary, or Tertiary to identify the type of vendor.
Enter the Matrix ID numbers(s). Click the down-arrow icon in the grid, to find a Site Matrix.
Enter the Problem Code(s) for which the assignment is to be replaced.
Tip: Matrices and problem codes can be pasted into this form.
Click Replace. A form will chart the Replacement Process. Errors are not to be expected, however, the detail of any that may occur will be provided. If an error should occur, contact your System Administrator.
Click Close. You will be returned to the task form. At this point, the user can click Clear Codes or Clear Sites to process additional assignment replacements.
