A Contact Matrix ID is added to a site matrix for a specific problem code. When the problem code is selected during Call Entry and a work order is created, the system automatically notifies the individuals named in the contact matrix via Dispatch Notify.
To create a new Contact Matrix, select Dispatching/Contact Matrix Maintenance from the Masterfiles menu. Screen Shot
Click the button labeled Add New Contact Matrix.
As prompted by the dialog box, enter the name of the new Contact Matrix. The system will automatically assign an identifying number.
Click OK. The new matrix name and identifying number will immediately be added to the list in the upper portion of the screen.
