Technician Availability

The Technician Availability form is used to set the status of a technician as available or unavailable.  Availability can be set for temporary reasons, such as when a tech has traveled out of his zone for an extended period of time or for more permanent reasons such as vacation or sick time.  A tech can also be set as unavailable by a dispatcher if his workload is too high.

This screen provides an alphabetical listing of all active technicians and visually conveys the availability of each; a reason for unavailability; a backup assignment and the dates and times of absence. 

To access this form, click the icon techicon.gif on the toolbar or select Technician Availability from the Tasks menu.   Screen Shot

To change or update the status of a technician, double click a name.  Complete the Employee Properties form.
