Create a Duplicate Order

During Call Entry, when the CSR reviews the Site History tab and determines that the problem reported is a duplicate, a new order can quickly be created and marked as a “duplicate”.   When several people report the same problem, creating duplicate orders will save the CSR and the dispatcher a considerable amount of time.

To accomplish this task, right-mouse click the work order number to be duplicated.  The system will create a duplicate order and assign it to the Caller.   Screen Shot

When the parent order is closed the duplicate orders will automatically be closed, with a completion email sent to each of the callers.

Note:  To close orders independently of the parent order, select the Company Default Setting, Close Duplicates.
